 Distinguished guests,


I warmly greet you on behalf of Romania-Korea friendship association, and

express gratitude for organizing seminar “Cherishing the memory of Great

Leader Comrade KIM IL SUNG”.

The great leader comrade KIM IL SUNG, the eternal President of the

Korean people, is the most prominent leader in the 20th century, who

performed the immortal exploits for the country and the people, the times

and the humankind with his profound ideological and theoretical wisdom,

extraordinary art of leadership and gigantic revolutionary practice.

By founding immortal Juche Idea, he provided the basic guidelines for

dynamically advancing the Korean revolution along the road of

independence forever.

Based on the rich experience gained in the anti-Japanese revolutionary

struggle, he successfully accomplished the cause of building the party, state

and army in a short period after liberation and steadily strengthened the

Party, state and army.

He was iron-willed brilliant commander who frustrated the imperialists’

aggression and the interference with his matchless pluck. He led the

three-year-long fierce war to victory to defend dignity and sovereignty of the

DPRK.

Under his wise leadership, the DPRK created a people-centered socialist

system in which there is no exploitation and oppression.

The improvement of the people's living standards is the supreme principle of

state activity and this is underpinned by legalization. As the great eternal

leader President KIM IL SUNG said "Our people are now enjoying fully

independent and creative lives in the embrace of the Republic, as masters of

the state and society. In our country all the people exercise their full rights to

independence through their active participation in the political life of the


state. They are adding luster to their worthwhile lives through their creative

struggle to achieve the high aim set by the Party, helping and leading each

other forward, closely united on the basis of revolutionary constancy and

comradeship. All the material and cultural needs, such as food, clothing, and

housing, are met by the state, which also provides them with secure jobs

according to their abilities. They are leading equally happy lives, receiving

the benefits of free education, free medical care and so on from the state and

society".

Now, Comrade KIM JONG UN, President of the State Affairs of the

DPRK, who is identical with the preceding leaders, makes the DPRK as the

socialist People’s Republic and invincible power with his politics of

prioritizing the people and respecting and loving them.

Thanks to wise leadership of President KIM JONG UN, I am convinced

that DPRK will be the most powerful country in the world.

Touching Story about Jangchon Vegetable Farm The Jangchon Vegetable Farm in Sadong District which President Kim Il Sung noted down in his pocketbook as a "poor farm" dozens of years ago has turned into a cultured socialist one to be proud of in the world and a spectacular farm reminiscent of a  rural city and its farmers’ living conditions become better off as days go by. The President made tireless efforts to turn the village into a prosperous one which had been called a village with sterile land. When he visited the village on the outskirts of Pyongyang for the first time, a girl agricultural assistant engineer said to him that she received an empty envelope in the year-end account settlement and income distribution as the farm failed to do farming well.
